From 1982 to 1985, the Science and Technology Commission of Ningxia had organized science and technology persons to study the nutrients and active ingredients of Goji. Ningxia Chemical Research Institute,Ningxia Medical School, Ningxia Medicine Inspection Institute, Ningxia Medical Institute and Ningxia Analyzing and Testing Center, on the basis of domestic and foreign documents and in accordance with Goji’s traditional features, had studied the ingredients contained in goji fruits, leaves, fruit stems by means of modern analyzing and separating instruments, and results are as follows:
